COVID-19 Prevention Policy & Community Support Initiative
As the situation with COVID-19 evolves day-to-day, Coronavirus is having a dramatic impact on our lives, businesses, and supply chains. Our top priority during these challenging times continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and communities.
We always have commitments towards the community as it is already within our core value. Here are a few initiatives which we have conducted the following:
1) All employees have trained on proper hand washing protocol, work areas are cleaned prior to shipping each package and all employees wear vinyl gloves when packaging orders.
2) We posted a blog on 19 March 2020 what we need to do and some guide to some of the things you can do to boost your immune system and minimize the chance of spreading not only coronavirus but any infectious conditions among your family or household.
3) We have celebrated Thanksgiving in 2020 differently, by donating a portion of the sales to Feed Nova Scotia and Food Banks Canada organizations. a better and smart celebration due to public gathering restrictions of COVID-19.
4) Due to COVID-19, we know many are under stress and that some are facing significant financial hardship. To do our part, we have announced a partnership with Sezzle Inc. which is an installment payment platform.
